Editorial policy
Bold Leisure Review aims to make clear, considered writing about leisure and personal pastimes. We value accurate wording, proportionate claims and a visible distinction between editorial work and material created with a partner.
Accuracy and care
We check factual statements against suitable source material before publication and take care not to present personal preference as a universal rule. Where a point is uncertain or depends on context, the wording should say so. Our articles are general editorial content, not professional advice.
Independence
Editorial decisions are made for readers, not to promise favorable treatment to a contributor or partner. A relationship with a partner does not determine what an editorial article says. Paid, sponsored or otherwise partner-created material is clearly labelled so readers can tell what they are reading.
Corrections
If a published piece contains a factual error, readers can report it through the Contact page. We review correction requests and amend the text when a change is warranted. Significant corrections should be identified in the article, with wording that makes the change understandable.
Images and illustrations
Images are selected or created to support the subject. Some illustrations may be generated with AI; when an illustration is AI-generated, it is labelled as such. Illustrations are not evidence of a real event or object unless the accompanying text clearly establishes that context.
Leisure deserves attention
Free time is not empty space to fill. Small choices about pace, company and attention can change its character.
